Indianapolis based, Deflecto LLC, was awarded ‘Best Product-Environmentally Friendly Product of the Year' for its Environmat™. The winners of the second Annual North American Office Products Awards (NAOPA) were announced during a special presentation dinner at the SP Richards ABC event in Las Vegas on Monday night. Over 2,500 people attended the event which was organized by OPI in association with SP Richards.
The Environmat™ is the most environmentally friendly chairmat made and is completely recyclable. This mat is made from 100% post consumer recycled beverage bottles. Each Environmat™ uses 128-245 recycled plastic bottles depending on its size.
Deflecto makes every effort to operate in a "green" manner. They are committed to sustainable manufacturing practices which reduce energy, improve efficiencies and lessen waste. It is their goal to seek eco-friendly materials creating green products that minimize environmental impacts. "Environmental responsibility is a key emphasis in our product development efforts.
